Banana Cake 2

Note: These recipes use NZ measurements. 1 c = 1 cup = 250 ml. 1 T = 1 tablespoon = 15 ml. 1 D = 2 teaspoons. 1 t = 1 teaspoon = 5ml. If you're in America, you may find you need a little extra baking powder in recipes that use it.

125g (4oz.) butter
175g (6oz) sugar
2 eggs
2 bananas, mashed
1 t baking soda
2 T boiling water
1 t baking powder
225g (8oz) flour

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, mashed bananas, then baking soda dissolved in water. Lastly sift in flour and baking powder. Bake at 180C for 40 minutes.
