Iced spice biscuits
- 8oz flour
- 4oz butter
- 4oz brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 t mixed spice
- pinch salt
- ICING:
- 4oz icing sugar
- 1 T water, hot
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Sift in flour, spice and salt. Cut into shapes with cutters, cook at 180C for 12 minutes.
Ice when cool.
You can also stick two together with raspberry jam and ice the top one with pale pink coloured icing.
Time: 32 minutes
